Illustrated Books

Forever and even more so since having my son, I have yearned to illustrate children's books. When I was young, books were an escape for me, worlds I could travel to away from the place where I was hurting. My thought everytime I chose a book to read... "Does it have a map?" because by my reasoning, it would be an excellent read if it had a map. Since my son is young, and not yet reading books with maps, illustrating children's books was my next step in hopefully igniting a love for reading in him. We read every night before bed and he often points out the little details in the pictures. How incredibly special is it to tell him... "Your Mama painted those"... And so here you will find a collection of the books I have illustrated with more to come!
